Jose Tamayo
Executive Managing Director & Founder
With more than 50 years of coaching and player development experience, Jose Tamayo has dedicated his life to building one of South Florida’s most respected soccer development environments. Since founding FUTSOC in 1999, Coach Tamayo has helped guide generations of players through elite training, national competition, collegiate pathways, and professional opportunities.
A lifelong student of the game, Coach Tamayo has worked across youth, academy, high school, collegiate, and elite competitive soccer, while helping establish developmental programs and competitive pathways throughout South Florida. Under his leadership, FUTSOC ENIGMA rose to national prominence, earning top national rankings and competing at some of the most prestigious tournaments in the world, including the Dallas Cup, Surf Cup, Jefferson Cup, and Disney Showcase.
Beyond the field, Coach Tamayo’s greatest passion remains developing complete student-athletes through discipline, character, education, and love for the game. To date, more than 175 FUTSOC players have continued on to collegiate soccer programs across the United States.
Francisco Tamayo

Francisco Tamayo has been part of FUTSOC since the club’s foundation and has played a major role in shaping its player development philosophy and competitive identity. A former standout player for the nationally ranked FUTSOC ENIGMA squads, Coach Francisco competed at the highest levels of youth soccer in the United States, earning three USL Super Y-League ODP Regional selections while participating in elite national and international competitions.
After years of experience working with players through YMCA, AYSO, camps, clinics, and academy programs, Coach Francisco transitioned into leadership and coaching roles within FUTSOC, helping oversee the club’s technical development structure and specialized training environment. He has directed the FUTSOC Summer Soccer Program, led advanced player development initiatives, and played a key role in building the highly regarded FUTSOC Bambinos Academy.
Coach Francisco holds multiple coaching certifications, including the prestigious USSF “C” License, and remains committed to developing technically skilled, intelligent, and passionate players through a modern, player-centered approach to the game.
Armando Tamayo

Armando Tamayo has been part of FUTSOC since the club’s foundation and now serves as the club’s Director of Coaching, helping oversee player development, coaching methodology, and the long-term growth of FUTSOC’s competitive and academy programs.
With years of experience working across multiple age groups and levels within the FUTSOC system, Coach Armando focuses on building a modern developmental environment centered around technical excellence, intelligent play, discipline, and long-term player progression. His coaching background includes work with FUTSOC ENIGMA, academy programs, and varsity-level soccer at Sagemont Upper School.
Coach Armando holds the prestigious USSF “B” Coaching License along with multiple coaching certifications through the USSF and NSCAA. He earned his degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Nova Southeastern University, combining sports performance knowledge with player development and coaching education to help guide the next generation of FUTSOC athletes.
